Chatting with friends of mine about possibly joining the US military, the question inevitably comes up “why not join the Canadian armed forces?” I hold dual citizenship, I could join either forces. The Canadian forces are less likely to be deployed (safer) and overall are known for being smarter and better trained. My answer shocks most people: Canada isn’t worth defending.
